VACANCY
Position: Hiab Truck Driver/Operator
Advert Ref: HTO/16/Sept/2024 (This reference is to be stated in the Subject of your job application email)
Roles and responsibilities:
- To operate and maintain the company owned Hiab Crane Truck.
- To conduct checks and tests as per Daily Inspection Checklist on the Company owned Hiab Crane Truck. This includes operability of the Hiab Crane, all lifting and rigging accessories and Chemical Spill Control kit.
- Manipulate or depress truck controls to regulate speed and direction of crane and hoist movement according to written, verbal, or signal instructions.
- To liaise with the Operations Supervisor on the daily tasks and work out proper Journey Management Plan.
- To maintain records for all tasks carried out.
- Attend courses and assessments as when required to further competence and training.
- Maintain good housekeeping at all times.
- To ensure adherence to all safety regulations, guidelines and procedures.
- To ensure continuous personal time and effort in self-improvement, including self-training and familiarization with all Operational activities, rules, regulations and procedures.
- It is the responsibility of every employee to perform their duties in strict accordance with the Quality Management System and Safety Manuals and in a manner, which ensures their own and other health and safety.
- Perform basic maintenance of the Hiab Truck and crane.
- Any task assigned from time to time within the competency of the personnel.
Requirements:
- Must be citizen or permanent resident of Brunei Darussalam.
- Minimum qualification Lower Secondary Assessment or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years working experience as Hiab Truck Operator.
- Possessed Brunei Driving License Class 3 & 5

- To liaise with the Operations Supervisor on the daily tasks and work out proper Journey Management Plan.
- To maintain records for all tasks carried out.
- Attend courses and assessments as when required to further competence and training.
- Maintain good housekeeping at all times.
- To ensure adherence to all safety regulations, guidelines and procedures.
- To ensure continuous personal time and effort in self-improvement, including self-training and familiarization with all Operational activities, rules, regulations and procedures.

- Perform basic maintenance of the vehicles.

Requirements:
- Must be citizen or permanent resident of Brunei Darussalam.
- Minimum qualification Lower Secondary Assessment or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years working experience as Driver.
- Possessed Brunei Driving License Class 3. Possession of Class 4 Brunei Driving License would be an advantage.
